South Burnett Region Community Ride - Kingaroy
The South Burnett Region Community Ride - a charity cycling ride run in conjunction with this weekend's Tour de Kingaroy and Tour de Kumbia road races (a round of the Brisbane Camperland Queensland Road Teams series) will be held at the Somerset Street Youth Park in Kingaroy today. Cyclists can choose from a 6km, 12km or 35km course and activities will get underway at 7:30pm with a Lions sausage sizzle, followed by the three race departures at 8:00am, 8:30am and 9:00am. GT Jam Session - Yarraman
- The Royal Hotel at 18 Toomey Street in Yarraman will be holding their regular last Sunday of the month GT Jam Session between 1:30pm and 5:30pm this afternoon. The event is compered by Tony Cisneros and is open to all amateur musicians following any musical style (eg: country, covers, pop, folk etc). Equipment is supplied and admission is free. Hivesville Country Markets
- The Hivesville Country Markets will be held at the Hivesville Sports Grounds from 7:00am to around 1:00pm today. These family friendly monthly markets feature a variety of stalls including fresh local farm produce, plants, crafts and lots of food. There'll also be mini auctions running throughout the morning and there's plenty of free parking in the grounds.
