NAIDOC Community Open Day Celebration - Cherbourg
- This week is NAIDOC Week - Australia's annual celebration of the achievements and uniqueness of indigenous arts and culture - and Cherbourg will be celebrating it today with a Community Open Day at the Ration Shed Museum and adjoining parklands in Barambah Avenue from 10:30am onwards. The Open Day will feature a free barbecue, art activities, a musical playground for children and free film screenings. During the course of the day the winners of the Cherbourg Aboriginal Shire Council awards will be announced, along with the winners of the recent NAIDOC art competition. Popular band Muddy Flats will be providing live music, and there'll also be a corroboree and Island dancing. Everyone is welcome!
Wondai Wolves Training Night - Wondai
- The Wondai Wolves RLFC will be holding their regular Thursday night training sessions at the Wondai Sportsgrounds off the Bunya Highway just north of the CBD this evening. Juniors train from 4:30pm to 5:30pm, followed by seniors at 6:00pm.
St Joseph's Bingo - Murgon
- St Joseph's Parish Hall in Angel Avenue, Murgon will be holding bingo games from 7:30pm this evening. There'll be $1000 in prizes on offer as well as a canteen and lucky bingo tickets. Proceeds will go to aid St Joseph's school and community works.
Taras Hall Bingo - Nanango
- Bingo games will be held at Taras Hall immediately next to Nanango RSL in Henry Street, Nanango at 10:00am this morning. Everyone is welcome!

- The South Burnett Saints AFL Club will be holding their regular Thursday evening training sessions at Lyle Vidler Oval in Youngman Street, Kingaroy tonight. Juniors will train from 4:30pm to 5:30pm, and seniors from 5:45pm.
Women's Shed - Kingaroy
- The Kingaroy Women's Shed will be open from 9:00am to 3:00pm today behind the Salvation Army's headquarters at 44 Alford Street in Kingaroy. The shed is open to all women who'd enjoy the companionship of other women while undertaking woodwork, metalwork or similar projects or who'd just enjoy a chat. More details? Alcoholics Anonymous - Kingaroy
- Alcoholics Anonymous is a fellowship of men and women who share their experiences, strengths and hopes with each other to help solve their common problems and help others to recover from alcoholism. The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking. There are no dues or fees for A.A. membership, and A.A. isn't allied with any sect, denomination, politics, organization or institution.
