2013 State Of Origin - Game 3
The third and final 2013 State Of Origin match between the Queensland Maroons and the NSW Blues will be held at ANZ Stadium in Sydney at 8:00pm tonight. The Maroons are striving for their eighth consecutive State Of Origin series win. And after seven straight years of being whomped by the Sunshine State, the Blues are desperate to stop them. In the first match on June 5, the Blues triumphed. But the Maroons returned the favour in the second match on June 26. This means tonight's match should be really great, edge-of-the-seat footy where the outcome is anyone's guess. Naturally, South Burnett footy fans will be glued to TV screens around the region. But several local pubs and clubs will also be getting into the State Of Origin spirit tonight with big screen telecasts if you'd prefer to share the experience with other fans - check your local to see if they're one of them (they probably are).

The latest monthly meeting of the new Kingaroy QCWA Twilight Branch will be held at the 1913 Council Chambers in Edward Street, Kingaroy (behind the Kingaroy Visitor Information Centre) from 6:00pm to around 7:30pm tonight. The Twilight Branch is a new branch of the QCWA - separate from the Kingaroy branch - for working women and busy mums which meets in the evenings rather than during the day. The South Burnett Lively 50s&60s Social Group will be resuming their weekly Wednesday Wipe-Outs 10-Pin Bowling Morning at the Kingaroy Ten Pin Bowling Alley at 4 Irvins Street from 9:15am this morning (bowling starts at 9:30am sharp). The cost is $15.60 for three games plus a $2.00 fee that will be used towards prize monies and trophies which will be handed out out at the end of the season.
