South Burnett CTC - Working For Our Community
Women's Shed - Kingaroy
The Kingaroy Women's Shed will be open from 9:00am to 3:00pm today behind the Salvation Army's headquarters at 44 Alford Street in Kingaroy. The shed is open to all women who'd enjoy the companionship of other women while undertaking woodwork, metalwork or similar projects or who'd just enjoy a chat. More details? South Burnett Saints Training Night - Kingaroy
The South Burnett Saints AFL Club will be holding their regular Thursday evening training sessions at Lyle Vidler Oval in Youngman Street, Kingaroy tonight. Juniors will train from 4:30pm to 5:30pm, and seniors from 5:45pm.
Wondai Wolves Training Night - Wondai
The Wondai Wolves RLFC will be holding their regular Thursday night training sessions at the Wondai Sportsgrounds off the Bunya Highway just north of the CBD this evening. Juniors train from 4:30pm to 5:30pm, followed by seniors at 6:00pm.
St Joseph's Bingo - Murgon
St Joseph's Parish Hall in Angel Avenue, Murgon will be holding bingo games from 7:30pm this evening. There'll be $1000 in prizes on offer as well as a canteen and lucky bingo tickets. Proceeds will go to aid St Joseph's school and community works.
Taras Hall Bingo - Nanango
Bingo games will be held at Taras Hall immediately next to Nanango RSL in Henry Street, Nanango at 10:00am this morning. Everyone is welcome!
Play 500 - Murgon

Thursday Morning Zumba - Nanango
Zumba dance fitness classes will be held at the Nanango Skating Rink in George Street, Nanango at 9:00am this evening. The class fee is $5 and everyone is welcome.
Petero Civoniceva - Nanango, Taabinga and Kingaroy
Former State of Origin rugby league player Petero Civoniceva will be visiting Nanango State High School, Taabinga State School, Kingaroy State High School and the Kingaroy Red Ants Club today as a guest of the South Burnett Junior Rugby League. Tomorrow he'll be calling in on Kingaroy State School, Wondai State School, Murgon State High School and also appearing at the Murgon Sports Ground.
Country Music Night - Nanango
An informal Country Music Night will be held at the Nansango Uniting Church in Gipps Street at 7:30pm tonight. The get-together is open to both spectators and performers, and the $2 entry fee includes supper. Everyone is welcome!
Christmas In July Dinner RSVP Deadline
Today is the last day you can RSVP for the Lively 50-Plus Christmas In July Dinner being held at Dimities Restaurant in Wondai tomorrow night (see entry that day for all details).
Soil Health Field Day - Kooralgin
The Rosalie North Landcare Group is organising a special Soil Health Field Day today for rural producers in the Cooyar catchment area. The field day will visit two local properties to find out more about sustainable management practices to enhance soil health. Participants will meet at 9:00am at 148 Krugers Road, Kooralgin. Later today they will move to “Fairview Lodge”, 518 Cooyar-Kooralgin Road, Kooralgin. Cost is free and morning tea and lunch will be provided. Alcoholics Anonymous - Kingaroy
Alcoholics Anonymous is a fellowship of men and women who share their experiences, strengths and hopes with each other to help solve their common problems and help others to recover from alcoholism. The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking. There are no dues or fees for A.A. membership, and A.A. isn't allied with any sect, denomination, politics, organization or institution. School Disco - Blackbutt
Blackbutt State School is hosting a whole school disco tonight from 5:00pm-6:30pm. A canteen will be operating. Entry is $2.00 per child and all money raised will go towards the Year 7 camp. All Blackbutt State School students and their younger siblings are invited to attend.
