Endeavour Foundation Bingo - Kingaroy
The Endeavour Foundation will be holding bingo games at Kingaroy RSL from 10:00am this morning. There'll be four jackpots on offer, as well as a raffle. Everyone is welcome.
Blue Light Skating - Nanango
The Nanango Blue Light Disco committee will be holding their regular third Friday of the month U13s To U18s Skating Night at the Nanango Skating Rink in George Street, Nanango from 6:00pm to 9:00pm tonight. Arthur Nettelfield - Kingaroy

Nanart Soup Degustation Night - Nanango
Nanart will be holding a special "Soup Degustation Night" at the Nanango Cultural Centre in George Street, Nanango from 6:00pm until late tonight as a fundraiser for next year's Nanango Arts Festival. For $20 per head guests will be able to enjoy olives and cheeses for an entree, followed by a choice of three marvellous soups with fresh rustic bread for a main; and then cheesecake, wine, coffee and chocolate for dessert. There'll also be a display by local artists on show. Food will be served between 6:00pm and 8:00pm and seating is limited. Greet, Meet & Eat - Yarraman
A "Greet, Meet & Eat" social function will be held at St Phillips Anglican Church Hall in Millar Street, Yarraman from 10:00am until around 1:00pm today. The group was formed in May 2012 to provide a safe place where locals from Yaraman, Blackbutt and Cooyar could get together, enjoy each other's company and meet others in a low-cost way, and it's met on the third Friday of each month ever since (except for December and January). Today's meeting will kick off at 10:00am with a cuppa and will be followed by a three-course lunch at 12:00 noon. Country Music Practice Night - Nanango
The Nanango Country Music Friends will be holding their weekly practice night at the Wesleyan Church in Cairns Street, Nanango at 6:30pm this evening. The group is open to people of all skill levels who enjoy playing country music, and you can find out more details by phoning (07) 4163-2469.
Friday Social Golf - Kingaroy
The Kingaroy Golf Club on the Bunya Highway at Kingaroy will holding their regular Friday 9-ers 9 hole social golfing sessions for men and women from 8:00am until dusk today. Everyone is most welcome (including non-members) and green fees are $11 for members or $14 for non-members for the nine holes - but this also includes a card draw for prizes in the clubhouse in the evening (there's also a Jackpot card draw on the last Friday of each month). South Burnett Pantry - Kingaroy
The South Burnett Pantry will be open from 11:00am to 1:00pm today at 22 Stolzenberg Road in Kingaroy. The Pantry is a not-for-profit registered charity run by a Board of Management and staffed by volunteers, and it helps low income families, couples and singles stretch their shopping dollar further. The Pantry offers $35 pantry hampers that contain most of the food and personal cleaning items that most people need to get through part of the week (though you'll need to shop elsewhere for extras or special items). Soil Health Field Day RSVP Deadline
Primary producers interested in attending a soil health field day organised by the Rosalie North Landcare Group must RSVP by today. The field day will visit two properties on July 25 in the Kooralgin area to find out more about sustainable management practices to enhance soil health and enable long-term sustainable agricultural production. Cost is free and morning tea and lunch will be provided. Guest speakers will be Gary Zerner from AgSolutions and Kevin Collingridge from Norco Rural.
