Australia Day Public Holiday
Today is the Australia Day Public Holiuday (because Australia Day fell on a Saturday this year) and most South Burnett businesses will either be closed or operating on restricted hours. And because school resumes tomorrow, today is also the day when many holiday-makers will be making their way back home, making the roads even more dangerous than they usually are. So if you're going out today, drive carefully.
Kinaroy Senior Soccer Club AGM - Kingaroy
- The Kingaroy Senior Soccer Club (the Gunners) will be holding their Annual General Meeting at their clubhouse on Tom Alford Oval at the end of Oliver Bond Street, Kingaroy this evening. What's On At The Wineries This Weekend
The South Burnett's wineries and cellar doors will all be open this Australia Day long weekend if you want to relax in their cafes and/or taste their wines. The South Burnett is the largest wine region in Queensland and (excluding the Granite Belt) larger than all the State's other wine regions put together. Monday Night Basic Zumba - Wondai
- A Basic Zumba class will be held at Wondai Town Hall in Mackenzie Street at 6:00pm this evening.
