Blackbutt & District Tourism & Heritage Association Meeting
The Blackbutt & District Tourism & Heritage Association will be holding their first monthly meeting for 2013 at Nukka Nook (the building at the entrance to the Blackbutt Rail Trail off Bowman Road, Blackbutt) at 7:00pm. Coopers Gap Wind Farm Meeting - Kingaroy
A community consultation meeting for AGL's Coopers Gap Wind Farm proposal will be held at the Kingaroy Town Common Hall in Oliver Bond Street from 1:00pm to 4:00pm today. The meeting will provide an update on the project, as well as outline the Community Consultative Committee's objectives for 2013. The meeting will also hear the results of a survey AGL undertook in December to determine community attitudes towards the project. All interested people are welcome to attend today's meeting, and you can obtain more information by phoning Amanda on 1800-938-600 or email her.
National Seniors North Burnett Tour
The Murgon branch of National Seniors will be running a tour of the North Burnett today. Amongst other things, the tour will visit the Gayndah Museum and the RM Williams Centre at Eidsvold, as well as Mundubbera's famous roadside food stall. There'll also be a luncheon at the Star Hotel's restaurant. Tickets for the trip are $60 per head and anyone is welcome to come along, whether you're a National Seniors member or not. Taras Hall Bingo - Nanango
Bingo games will be held at Taras Hall immediately next to Nanango RSL in Henry Street, Nanango at 10:00am this morning. Everyone is welcome!
St Joseph's Bingo - Murgon
St Joseph's Parish Hall in Angel Avenue, Murgon will be holding bingo games from 7:30pm this evening. There'll be $1000 in prizes on offer as well as a canteen and lucky bingo tickets. Proceeds will go to aid St Joseph's school and community works.
Gamblers Anonymous - Murgon

Alcoholics Anonymous - Kingaroy
Alcoholics Anonymous is a fellowship of men and women who share their experiences, strengths and hopes with each other to help solve their common problems and help others to recover from alcoholism. The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking. There are no dues or fees for A.A. membership, and A.A. isn't allied with any sect, denomination, politics, organization or institution. AA meets in Kingaroy every Thursday from 7:30pm at the "Biscuit Tin", behind St Mary's Church Hall, 15 Albert Street, Kingaroy. For more information, phone (07) 4164-6226.
