Murgon A Grade Rugby League Team Meeting
The Murgon Rugby League Club will be holding a special meeting at the Murgon Showgrounds grandstand in Macalister Street at 6:00pm this evening. The purpose of the meeting is to decide whether or not Murgon will field an A-grade team in this year's South Burnett football competition. All interested people need to attend and voice their opinions, because a firm (and final) decision on the matter will be taken tonight. More details? Kingaroy Swimming Club Meeting
After a break for the Festive Season, the Kingaroy Swimming Club will be resuling their regular Tuesday Club Night meeting at the Kingaroy Swimming Pool at the corner of Alford and William Streets, Kingaroy from 6:00pm onwards this evening. Note: Entry to the pool is via the side gate in William Street if the main entry is closed. And in case of wet weather - or any other apparent reason for cancellation - contact can be made with the pool staff after 5:00pm on the day to check if the Club Night will be conducted.
Kingaroy Writers Association Meeting
After a break for the Festive Season, the Kingaroy Writers' Association will be resuming their twice-monthly meetings for 2013 with a meeting between 9:30am and 12:00 noon this morning at the Uniting Church Hall on the corner of Alford and Youngman Streets in Kingaroy. Members meet on the first and third Tuesdays of each month to share their work with other members and take part in writing and word exercises. Membership is $5 per annum and meetings are $2 to cover tea and coffee (bring a plate for a shared morning tea experience). New members are always very welcome! More details? Indoor Bowls Night - Nanango
After a brief break for the Festive Season, the Nanango Indoor Bowls Association will be resuming their regular weekly indoor bowls matches at the Nanango Cultural Centre in George Street, Nanango at 7:30pm this evening. Coffee & Cake Morning - Wondai
The Lively 50's & 60's Singles Social Group will be holding a coffee and cake social morning at Dimities Cottage in Haly Street, Wondai between 10:00am and 12:00 noon today. Lively50s&60s is a social group for women and men between 50 and 69 to allow them to get together for fun, social activities and merriment.
