South Burnett CTC - Working For Our Community
Working With Clay Workshop - Kingaroy
Jumping Ant Arts will be holding a special one day "Working With Clay" workshop at the Kingaroy Information, Art and Heritage Precinct in Haly Street from 9:00am onwards this morning. The workshop has been organised by local artists and is tailored for beginners or children aged 10 and up. The project for the day will be producing an echidna using the 'pinch pot' technique (see photo). The course fee is $10 - which covers the cost of clay and other supplied mateials - but you'll also need to bring a couple of plastic shopping bags; a rag or old hand towel; a pencil; a wooden spoon; an old EFTPOS card or similar for smoothing clay; and a spray bottle. Blackbutt Red Cross Meeting
After a short break for the Festive Season, the Blackbutt Red Cross branch will be holding their first monthly meeting for 2013 at the Uniting Church Hall in Blackbutt at 9:30am this morning. New members are very welcome.
Bowls Club Bingo - Kingaroy

South Burnett Carers Group Meeting - Kingaroy
The South Burnett Carers Social & Information Group will be holding its regular monthly meeting in the Tobruk Room of Kingaroy RSL in Markwell Street, Kingaroy from 10:30am and 12:30pm this morning. The group is open to anyone who acts as a carer. It's designed to provide a social and networking outlet for carers, who often find themselves isolated by their role. Indoor Bowls & Cards Day - Kingaroy
The Kingaroy Senior Citizens Club will be hosting indoor bowls and cards (500) competitions at its centre on the corner of Avoca and Kingaroy Streets, Kingaroy between 9:00am and 4:00pm today. The South Burnett Regional Council will be holding its monthly general meeting at the Glendon Street Council Chambers in Kingaroy at 9:00am this morning. Meetings are open to the public.

Alcoholics Anonymous - Wondai
Alcoholics Anonymous is a fellowship of men and women who share their experiences, strengths and hopes with each other to help solve their common problems and help others to recover from alcoholism. The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking. There are no dues or fees for AA membership, and AA isn't allied with any sect, denomination, politics, organization or institution.
