Murgon Mustangs JRLFC Family Fun Day
The Murgon Mustangs Junior Rugby League Football Club will be holding its annual Sign-On Day and a Family Fun Day at the Murgon Showgrounds in Macalister Street from 2:00pm to 5:00pm this afternoon. There'll be a free sausage sizzle and fun for all the family, and new players are very welcome. You can also find out more on the Murgon Mustangs JRLFC Facebook page.
Kingaroy Hack & Pony Club Sign-On Day - Kumbia

Public Meeting - Kingaroy
The Kingaroy and District Vintage Machinery Club will be holding a public meeting at Geoff Raph Drive in the Kingaroy Airport precinct at 2:00pm this afternoon to discuss plans to create a Heritage Village there at some point in the future. The club has acquired a long-term lease on a portion of the airport's land which it intends to use for future rallies and other events, but it would like to partner with other local clubs and community groups to create a much bigger facility that would help preserve local history. Kingaroy & Districts SGAP Meeting - Kingaroy
The Kingaroy & Districts Society For Growing Australian Plants (SGAP) will be holding their first meeting for 2013 in rooms 35 and 37 of St Mary's Catholic College in Kent Street, Kingaroy from 9:00am onwards this morning. After morning tea, the meeting will be followed at 10:30am by an information session on plant identification, with a particuar emphasis on how to use the "Rainforest Trees and Shrubs" field guide by Hardin, McDonald and Williams to key out and apply botanical names to plants. Lunch In The Country Smorgasbord - Wondai
Dimities Cottage at 49 Haly Street in Wondai will be holding the first of their regular Lunch In The Country Smorgasbords for 2013 from 12:00pm to 2:00pm today. Timbertown Woodworkers Group Meeting - Blackbutt

Sunday Afternoon Darts - Kingaroy
The South Burnett Darts Association will be holding their regular Sunday afternoon Pot Luck Doubles darts competitions from 11:00am to 4:00pm at their premises at Shed 1, 18 Stolzenberg Road in Kingaroy. A $10 playing fee applies, but that includes a great BBQ lunch.
