Queensland Police’s “mobile police station on wheels” set up in Kingaroy on Tuesday morning as part of a local “Coffee With A Cop” initiative at Kingaroy Mall.

The police officers and staff at the Mobile Police Beat van were answering questions as well as handing out pamphlets providing advice on personal and home security.

“Coffee With A Cop” provides an opportunity for local residents to get to know their local police, ask questions and share concerns.

The aim is to break down any barriers between police and the community in a casual and relaxed environment as well as share crime prevention strategies.

And, of course, enjoy a free coffee!
