Nanango Race Club is holding its annual Spring Races at the Lee Park Racecourse on Saturday.
There are five races on the card with Race 1 due to jump at 12:45pm.
Free buses will be running from Nanango (noon, Howletts Lane) and Kingaroy (11:30am, Carrollee Hotel) but bookings are essential!
Entrants in the Fashions Of The Field can pre-register online (and remember, there’s no theme!)
There’ll also be a competition for the Best Dressed Strapper and South Burnett Mayor Kathy Duff will also be looking for her “Paddock Pick” (ie. best dressed on course, no registration required).
Admission to the races is $10 for adults and $5 for pensioners (under 18s are free) and entry tickets can be booked online … but if you’re attending the Heritage Nanango Country Muster, just show your wristband and you can enter the racetrack for free!
NB. There’s no ATM on the course.
