More than 50 junior clay target shooters travelled to Clifton at the weekend to compete in a multi-discipline event.

Kingaroy’s Jackson Stallwood finished in fourth spot overall, just five points outside the top three.

Jackson, from Kingaroy State High School, combined with Nate Hamilton, from Border Rivers Christian College at Goondiwindi; and Levi Bryce, from Brisbane, to take out the School Challenge trophy.

The three boys also won the State of Origin Shield and Nate won the overall combined for the bench rest and shotgun events.
