Plenty Foods’ Josh Gadischke has been named a Queensland finalist in the inaugural Australian Agriculture Awards, launched by ACM Agri and the National Farmers Federation.
He is a finalist in the Westpac Innovation in Agriculture category for Queensland.
Josh is one of 16 Queenslanders who will be competing in the State categories.
The winners will be announced at a dinner in Brisbane on September 16 and then compete at the national finals in Canberra in November.
Josh was nominated for his new processing facility in Kingaroy which is creating protein powder from peanuts.
The plant was officially opened in February by Member for Nanango Deb Frecklington.
