Wondai Community Christmas Carols
Wondai's annual Community Christmas Carols service will be held at Coronation Park in Mackenzie Street, Wondai (the centre of town) from 6:00pm to 9:00pm tonight. The carols will be led by local choirs and in addition to a great, free night of family-friendly entertainment there'll also be a surprise visit by Santa, as well as a BBQ in operation if you get peckish. Bowls Club Bingo - Kingaroy
The Kingaroy Bowls Club at 141 Youngman St, Kingaroy will be running bingo matches from 7:30pm this evening with $800 in prizes on offer. More details from the club on (07) 4162-1404

Community Christmas Carols - Yarraman
Yarraman will be holding its annual Community Christmas Carols in the grounds of St Philips Anglican Church in Millar Street at 7:00pm this evening. Everyone is welcome to take part in this traditional Christmas celebration, and it will be followed by a light supper afterwards.
Heartmoves Exercise Session - Nanango
A free Heartmoves exercise session led by South Burnett physiotherapist Louise Kenny will be held at Rapid Fitness at 4 Railway Lane in Nanango between 10:45am and 11:45am this morning. The Heartmoves exercise program is jointly sponsored by the Heart Foundation, Rapid Fitness and the South Burnett Regional Council's Healthy Communities program. It's designed for people who haven't done exercise in awhile, and it lets you exercise at your own pace in a supportive environment. Arthritis & Osteoporosis Support Group Meeting - Wondai
The South Burnett Arthritis & Osteoporosis Support Group will be holding their 2012 Christmas Break-Up at Dimities Cottage in Haly Street, Wondai at 10:00am this morning. The group usually meet at 10:00am on the first Wednesday of each month (except January) at the Kingaroy Community Centre at 130 Kingaroy Street, Kingaroy to provide support for arthritis and osteoporosis sufferers. Christmas Break-Up Party - Wondai
Mother Kate's Early Learning Centre at 25 McCord Street in Wondai will be holding their Christmas Break-Up Party at 6:00pm this evening for staff, parents and students. Santa will be paying a visit to give all the children a book, and the children themselves will be performing a little concert for friends and family. Alcoholics Anonymous - Wondai
Alcoholics Anonymous is a fellowship of men and women who share their experiences, strengths and hopes with each other to help solve their common problems and help others to recover from alcoholism. The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking. There are no dues or fees for AA membership, and AA isn't allied with any sect, denomination, politics, organization or institution. Indoor Bowls & Cards Day - Kingaroy
The Kingaroy Senior Citizens Club will be hosting indoor bowls and cards (500) competitions at its centre on the corner of Avoca and Kingaroy Streets, Kingaroy between 9:00am and 4:00pm today. The group provides free music lessons and the opportunity to jam with other musicians, and it's open to everyone - especially older folks who enjoy music and/or would like to learn how play an instrument. Summer Soccer 7s - Kingaroy
The weekly summer Soccer 7s competition will be held at 6:30pm this evening at Tom Alford Oval in Oliver Bond Street, Kingaroy (ie the Kingaroy soccer grounds). The competition is open to players of all skill levels and abilities, and players who weren't registered for the 2012 season can pay a $25 social registration which will cover them until December 31. There will also be a $50 team nomination fee available, as well as a nightly match fee of $5 each to play. Everyone is welcome! More details?
