South Burnett Speedway - Kingaroy
- The South Burnett Speedway Club will be roaring into life this afternoon and evening with their third outing of the 2012-13 season - and it looks like being h-u-g-e. Tonight's feature race will be Round 3 of the National Super Sedan Series, with drivers from WA, SA, Tasmania, NSW, Victoria and a red hot field of Queenslanders tackling the 400m clay way for the biggest night of Super Sedans seen at Kingaroy Speedway since the USA Test matches back in the 1990s. But there'll also be thrilling white-knuckle clashes between Street Sedans, Junior Sedans and Lightning Sprints all on the program, as well as a fun appearance by Santa Claus and a fireworks spectacular that should be something else again. Gates will open at 2:00pm and the first pedals will slam into the metal at 4:30pm. Admission is $25 for adults; $15 for pensioners and students; or $65 for a family pass (2 adults and up to 3 students) - but under-12s can get in for free. Everyone is welcome!
