Heartmoves Exercise Session - Nanango
A free Heartmoves exercise session led by South Burnett physiotherapist Louise Kenny will be held at Rapid Fitness at 4 Railway Lane in Nanango between 10:45am and 11:45am this morning. The Heartmoves exercise program is jointly sponsored by the Heart Foundation, Rapid Fitness and the South Burnett Regional Council's Healthy Communities program. It's designed for people who haven't done exercise in awhile, and it lets you exercise at your own pace in a supportive environment. Bowls Club Bingo - Kingaroy
The Kingaroy Bowls Club at 141 Youngman St, Kingaroy will be running bingo matches from 7:30pm this evening with $800 in prizes on offer. More details from the club on (07) 4162-1404
Murgon Rotary Club Meeting

Indoor Bowls & Cards Day - Kingaroy
The Kingaroy Senior Citizens Club will be hosting indoor bowls and cards (500) competitions at its centre on the corner of Avoca and Kingaroy Streets, Kingaroy between 9:00am and 4:00pm today. Timbertown Woodworkers Group Meeting - Blackbutt
The Timbertown Woodworkers Group will be holding their regular Wednesday meeting at the Blackbutt Showgrounds in Bowman Road, Blackbutt from 8:00am until around 4:00pm today. Nanango Seniors Meeting
The Nanango branch of National Seniors will be holding their regular 3rd Wednesday of the month meeting at CTC (opposite the State Primary School) in Drayton Street, Nanango at 10:30am this morning - though you can come as early as 9:30am if you'd like a cuppa and natter first. New members aged 50-plus are very welcome! Note: Today's meeting is also the group's Christmas break-up. Meetings will resume in February 2013.
South Burnett Carers Group Christmas Break-Up - Memerambi
The South Burnett Carers Social & Information Group will be holding its Christmas break-up meeting at 35 Count Street in Memerambi between 10:30am and 12:30pm this morning (please park at the front). The group is open to anyone who acts as a carer and is designed to provide a social and networking outlet for carers, who often find themselves isolated by their role. The group provides coffee, cake, companionship, support and information for carers at its regular monthly meetings - but for today's gathering, guests should bring a pate of nibbles to share plus $5 for a Secret Santa. Nanango Blue LIght Open Night
The Nanango Blue Light Disco committee will be holding their regular Wednesday Open Night at the Nanango Skating Rink in George Street, Nanango from 4:00pm to 6:00pm this evening. Young people are welcome to come along for skating lessons, homework help (during school term), art and sculpture classes, games and access to the computer room. Entry is $2. More details? Musical Group Jam Session - Wondai
The Wondai Art Gallery music group will be meeting at the Gallery on the roundabout in Wondai at 7:00pm this evening. The group provides free music lessons and the opportunity to jam with other musicians, and it's open to everyone - especially older folks who enjoy music and/or would like to learn how play an instrument. The South Burnett Regional Council will be holding its final monthly general meeting for 2012 at the Glendon Street Council Chambers in Kingaroy at 9:00am this morning. Meetings are open to the public.
Alcoholics Anonymous - Wondai
Alcoholics Anonymous is a fellowship of men and women who share their experiences, strengths and hopes with each other to help solve their common problems and help others to recover from alcoholism. The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking. There are no dues or fees for AA membership, and AA isn't allied with any sect, denomination, politics, organization or institution.
