South Burnett Community Christmas Lunch - Kingaroy
The Salvation Army and several other community groups and volunteers will be hosting the annual South Burnett Community Christmas Lunch at the Senior Citizens Centre in Avoca Street, Kingaroy from 11:30am this morning (lunch will be served at around 12:00 noon). The lunch is open to anyone - young or old - including single parents and those who'd just appreciate some company today, and has steadily become a Christmas Day tradition. Christmas Day Lunch - Wondai
- Dimities Cottage at 49 Haly Street, Wondai will be serving up their traditional BYO Christmas Smorgasbord Lunch from 12:00 noon onwards today. This is always a terrific all-you-can-eat feed - even Santa puts in an appearance to briefly chow down! - and routinely draws up to 100 people.
