South Burnett CTC - Working For Our Community
Halloween Groove Dance Party - Woolooga
Susanne Wright will be adding a Halloween feel to her regular one-hour Groove Dance exercise class at Woolooga Hall from 6:00pm this evening. Cost for this special night (costumes supplied!) is $15 for walk-ins or buy a pass for $60 for five classes (valid for two months).
Communi-TEA at Graham House - Murgon
Graham House will be running another of its monthly morning teas from 10:00am today at Graham House, 21 Taylor Street East, Murgon. The get-together for seniors is held on the last Tuesday of every month and usually has a theme as well as a guest speaker. The theme for today is "Breast Cancer Pink" and the guest speakers will be Nickie and Judy from the Murgon Library.
Kingaroy Run Co
The Kingaroy Run Co social running group will meet up at Hunter Gatherer Trader in Alford Street, Kingaroy at 6:00am this morning for a 30-minute run that will finish with a cup of coffee. The group meets every Tuesday morning, is open to anyone of any ability level, and has no membership fee.
Blackbutt Singers - Yarraman
The Blackbutt Singers will holding their regular Tuesday morning practice session at the Yarraman Community Hall in Browne Street, Yarraman from 9:30am to around noon this morning. The South Burnett Gem and Fossicking Club will be holding their regular Tuesday meeting at their club's Wondai workshop in the old Wondai Railway Station at Coronation Park in the town's CBD from 4:30pm to around 8:00pm tonight. The club embraces all aspects of lapidary (including gem hunting and cutting) and meets every Monday and Thursday in Kingaroy, with Tuesday workshops in Wondai for faceting and silverwork. Education March - Cherbourg
Cherbourg State School will be celebrating their students' achievements - and the 100-year anniversary of the Culture Building - with a march starting at the school oval at 9:15am and finishing in the undercover area at the school. There will be class displays, photo and historical tour of the Culture Building and a kup murri at 11:00am.

South Burnett Pantry - Kingaroy
The South Burnett Pantry will be open from 8:30am to 12:00 noon today at 1A (Lot 3) Railway Terrace in Kingaroy. The Pantry is a not-for-profit registered charity run by a Board of Management and staffed by volunteers, and it helps low income families, couples and singles stretch their shopping dollar further. The Pantry offers $40 pantry hampers that contain most of the food and personal cleaning items that most people need to get through part of the week (though you'll need to shop elsewhere for extras or special items). And anyone who's finding it hard to make ends meet is very welcome to make use of it. More details? Phone James on 0438-071-658. Alcoholics Anonymous - Nanango
Alcoholics Anonymous is a fellowship of people who share their experience, strength and hope with each other to solve their common problem and help others to recover from alcoholism. The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking. There are no dues or fees for AA membership. AA is not allied with any sect, denomination, politics, organisation or institution.
