International Rural Women's Day - Ironpot
- BIEDO will be hosting an International Rural Women's Day Lunch from 11:30am to 2:30pm today at Mulanah Gardens,736 Deep Creek Road, Ironpot. Speakers are Delvene Woltmann (Kewpie Stockfeeds), Stephanie Whittaker (Last Pastoral Co) and Tracy and Jacinta Rockemer (Booubyjan). Tickets are $30 and can be booked online.
St Mary's Catholic College Awards - Kingaroy

Bible Society Morning Tea - Kingaroy
- St John's Lutheran Ladies will be hosting a morning tea from 9:30am this morning at St John's Church Hall, on the corner of Markwell and Youngman streets, Kingaroy. There'll be a bring and buy stall (cash only) and a guest speaker. Entry by gold coin donation with all proceeds going to the Bible Society.
Kingaroy Christmas Carnival Meeting
- The organisers of the 2024 Kingaroy Christmas Carnival are looking for volunteers! They'll be meeting from 6:30pm tonight at the Kingaroy RSL Club in Markwell Street and everyone is welcome to come along and find out more. The Christmas Carnival will be held on December 12, so mark your calendars!
Making Our Mark - Cherbourg
- Learn more about local Indigenous businesses from 9:30am to 2:00pm today at the Les Stewart Sporting Complex in Cherbourg. The event is for First Nations business owners (and people thinking of starting a business) as well as buyers of First Nations products. QCWA International Day - Proston
- Proston QCWA members will be holding a jam-packed International Day from 9:30am this morning at their rooms in Rodney Street. The day will start with a morning tea (gold coin donation) to support dementia awareness, followed by lunch (Moroccan food, gold coin donation) and then a mini-tombola. - The Kingaroy Run Co social running group will meet up at Hunter Gatherer Trader in Alford Street, Kingaroy at 5:45am this morning for a 30-minute run that will finish with a cup of coffee. The group meets every Tuesday morning, is open to anyone of any ability level, and has no membership fee.

South Burnett Pantry - Kingaroy
- The South Burnett Pantry will be open from 8:30am to 12:00 noon today at 1A (Lot 3) Railway Terrace in Kingaroy. The Pantry is a not-for-profit registered charity run by a Board of Management and staffed by volunteers, and it helps low income families, couples and singles stretch their shopping dollar further. The Pantry offers $40 pantry hampers that contain most of the food and personal cleaning items that most people need to get through part of the week (though you'll need to shop elsewhere for extras or special items). Alcoholics Anonymous - Nanango
- Alcoholics Anonymous is a fellowship of people who share their experience, strength and hope with each other to solve their common problem and help others to recover from alcoholism. The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking. There are no dues or fees for AA membership. AA is not allied with any sect, denomination, politics, organisation or institution.
