SpringFed Music Showcase - Kingaroy
- The Carrollee Hotel will be hosting a singer-songwriter showcase from noon today, featuring all original music. On stage will be a string of local artists, including Amber Goldsmith, Tucker McCray, Paul Ricketts and Larry Cann singing their own songs in the hotel's beer garden. - Murgon Golf Club will be holding a Women's Open Day at the club at 192 Lamb Street, Murgon. There'll be a shotgun start at 9:00am. Nominations are $28, which includes morning tea and lunch. - The new Cooyar Hotel Markets will be running in the grounds of the Cooyar Hotel on the New England Highway, Cooyar from 10:00am to around 2:00pm today. The markets feature Neil's fresh fruit and vegetables, market stalls, seafoods, coffee and hot foods, plus free face painting for children from 11:00am to 2:00pmn.
