Summer Soccer 7s Sign-On - Kingaroy

Kingaroy Senior Soccer Club's annual Summer 7s social competition will be running on Wednesday nights from October 9 to December 11 at Tom Alford Oval, Oliver Bond Street, Kingaroy. Interested players, aged 14 plus, can nominate a team or sign on as individuals from 5:30pm tonight at the soccer fields. Cost for registered season players is $50 per player; or $85 for social players.

Maidenwell QCWA Meeting

Nanango To Kingaroy Shopping Bus

Graham House will be running a shopping bus between Nanango and Kingaroy today. The bus will pick up customers from their Nanango address at 8:30am and transport them to Kingaroy Shoppingworld (or other destinations if arranged beforehand), then make a return journey to Nanango at around 12:00 noon. Tickets on the bus are $10 per person return and the bus runs fortnightly on Wednesdays, but places are limited so a booking is necessary. The South Burnett Pantry will be open from 8:30am to 12:00 noon today at 1A (Lot 3) Railway Terrace in Kingaroy. The Pantry is a not-for-profit registered charity run by a Board of Management and staffed by volunteers, and it helps low income families, couples and singles stretch their shopping dollar further. The Pantry offers $40 pantry hampers that contain most of the food and personal cleaning items that most people need to get through part of the week (though you'll need to shop elsewhere for extras or special items).
