Cherbourg Show Day

The 2024 Cherbourg Show will be held from 4:00pm to 8:00pm at Jack O'Chin Oval in Cherbourg to mark Cherbourg Day. Entry is free and there will be free rides for the kids. Music Trivia Night - Yarraman

Burnett Inland Big Map - Murgon

Disaster Relief Australia is bringing its Big Map project to the South Burnett this month with meetings in Kingaroy and Murgon. Today's workshop will be held from 9:00am to 3:30pm at the South Burnett PCYC in Macalister Street, Murgon. Watoto Children's Choir - Kingaroy

The famous Watoto Children's Choir will be singing and dancing from 6:30pm tonight at the Highway Church, corner of Edenvale North Road and D'Aguilar Highway, Kingaroy. The free event will feature music from their new album, "Better Days, There Is Hope". Watoto is a non-profit Christian organisation that cares for orphans in Uganda, and the choir has performed in the South Burnett several times in the past.

South Burnett Pantry - Kingaroy

The South Burnett Pantry will be open from 8:30am to 12:00 noon today at 1A (Lot 3) Railway Terrace in Kingaroy. The Pantry is a not-for-profit registered charity run by a Board of Management and staffed by volunteers, and it helps low income families, couples and singles stretch their shopping dollar further. The Pantry offers $40 pantry hampers that contain most of the food and personal cleaning items that most people need to get through part of the week (though you'll need to shop elsewhere for extras or special items).
