Cherbourg Show Day
- The 2024 Cherbourg Show will be held from 4:00pm to 8:00pm at Jack O'Chin Oval in Cherbourg to mark Cherbourg Day. Entry is free and there will be free rides for the kids. Music Trivia Night - Yarraman
- Yarraman P-9 P&C is hosting a music trivia night in the school hall at 17 John Street, Yarraman. The theme is "Groovy". Teams of between four and 10 people will be competing for cash prizes. Burnett Inland Big Map - Murgon
- Disaster Relief Australia is bringing its Big Map project to the South Burnett this month with meetings in Kingaroy and Murgon. Today's workshop will be held from 9:00am to 3:30pm at the South Burnett PCYC in Macalister Street, Murgon. The local area will be highlighted on a giant floor map to identify areas at risk from extreme weather events with the aim of building resilience and readiness in the community. Register by email
Flood Study Information Session - Goomeri
- Gympie Regional Council has invited residents to attend an information session about the State Government's

Growing Up In Moore - Blackbutt
- The Roy Emerson Museum, in Bowman Road, Blackbutt, will be hosting a morning of memories from 9:00am today, courtesy of firth generation farmers Rob and Kay Bishop. South Burnett Saints Awards Night - Kingaroy
- The South Burnett Saints AFL Club's annual presentation night will be held at Kingaroy Town Hall from 6:00pm tonight (but tickets must be booked by September 30). Tickets are $50 for adults or $25 for children. They can be purchased by messaging the club on Facebook
Kingaroy RSL Bingo

Watoto Children's Choir - Kingaroy
- The famous Watoto Children's Choir will be singing and dancing from 6:30pm tonight at the Highway Church, corner of Edenvale North Road and D'Aguilar Highway, Kingaroy. The free event will feature music from their new album, "Better Days, There Is Hope". Watoto is a non-profit Christian organisation that cares for orphans in Uganda, and the choir has performed in the South Burnett several times in the past.
Karaoke Night - Murgon

Friday Night At The Shed
- The Shed in Little Drayton Street, Nanango (just next to the Scott Car Park) will be open from 7:00pm until late tonight for local musicians and anyone else who enjoys music to come along, bring their instruments and jam in a relaxed and informal setting, or just sit on the Shed's lounges, listen in and enjoy the wide variety of talent on offer. South Burnett Pantry - Kingaroy
- The South Burnett Pantry will be open from 8:30am to 12:00 noon today at 1A (Lot 3) Railway Terrace in Kingaroy. The Pantry is a not-for-profit registered charity run by a Board of Management and staffed by volunteers, and it helps low income families, couples and singles stretch their shopping dollar further. The Pantry offers $40 pantry hampers that contain most of the food and personal cleaning items that most people need to get through part of the week (though you'll need to shop elsewhere for extras or special items). Alcoholics Anonymous - Murgon
- Alcoholics Anonymous is a fellowship of people who share their experience, strength and hope with each other to solve their common problem and help others to recover from alcoholism. The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking. There are no dues or fees for membership. AA is not allied with any sect, denomination, politics, organisation or institution.
