Sausage Sizzle - Kingaroy
- To celebrate the 5th birthday of Kingaroy's Containers For Change depot, a free sausage sizzle will be held at the depot at 13 Kingaroy Street from 11:00am to 12:30pm today. The winner of a "guess the number of cans" game which has been running since September 23 will also be announced.
Cattle For A Cure Auction - Murgon
- Two steers and a heifer will be auctioned at SBLX Murgon today by Aussie Land and Livestock to raise funds for the South Burnett's Relay For Life fundraising campaign for Cancer Council Queensland. The animals have been donated by three local families.

South Burnett Pantry - Kingaroy
- The South Burnett Pantry will be open from 8:30am to 12:00 noon today at 1A (Lot 3) Railway Terrace in Kingaroy. The Pantry is a not-for-profit registered charity run by a Board of Management and staffed by volunteers, and it helps low income families, couples and singles stretch their shopping dollar further. The Pantry offers $40 pantry hampers that contain most of the food and personal cleaning items that most people need to get through part of the week (though you'll need to shop elsewhere for extras or special items).
