Rural Crime Prevention Night - Kumbia
- The Kingaroy Stock and Rural Crime Investigation Squad (SARCIS) will be holding a special rural crime prevention night at Kumbia Memorial Hall at 7:30pm this evening. The night is being supported by Kumbia Rural Watch and the Kingaroy Police, and all interested residents from the district are invited to attend and learn more about rural surveillance cameras; “Private Property” signs; shooting on private property; brands; reporting incidents and suspicious behaviour; appropriate contact points for reporting; and crime trends in the rural environment. The evening will be led by Detective Sergeant Mark Ferling, a highly experienced officer in stock and rural matters, and brochures on rural crime prevention will also be available.
Monday Evening Bingo - Blackbutt
- Bingo games will be held at Nukku Nook at the head of the Blackbutt Rail Trail in Hart Street, Blackbutt from 7:00pm this evening (eyes down at 7:30pm sharp). Rising Stars Playgroup - Yarraman
- The Yarraman Rising Stars Playgroup will be meeting at the Yarraman State School Meeting Room between 8:45am and 11:30am this morning. Children involved in the playgroup will get to enjoy a morning of indoor and outdoor play and fun; develop pre-reading and pre-writing skills; form strong relationships with other children; and transition to school more smoothly. If you're bringing your child along, you should also bring along morning tea, a water bottle, a hat, closwed-in shoes suitable for climbing and old clothes (sunscreen will be provided).
