Mayor's Gala Charity Ball - Kingaroy
The 2015 Mayor's Gala Charity Ball will be held at the Kingaroy Town Hall in Glendon Street, Kingaroy from 6:00pm until late tonight. The Ball is a major fundraiser for the Mayor's Community Benefit Fund, which distributes grants several times every year to South Burnett not-for-profit community groups who might not be able to obtain funding from other sources, and it's rapidly grown to be one of the social highlights of the region as well. Guests at this year's Ball will get to enjoy canapes and wine on arrival at the Glendon Street forecourt, followed by a sumptuous three course meal, entertainment by internationally famous ABBA tribute band Bjorn Again supported by Midnight Groove, and a charity auction with many rare and valuable items up for grabs. Tickets to the Ball are $165 per head and can be booked by phoning (07) 4189-9100.

The Wondai Kindergarten's BBQs will also be firing up from 6:45am to dish out hearty breakfasts to early bargain hunters. New stallholders are always very welcome (stall fees range from $10 with power and water available, if needed) and you can obtain more details by phoning the Gallery on (07) 4168-5926 or by emailing them
