The annual two-month Queensland Winter Craft Festival was officially launched at the Kingaroy Regional Art Gallery last Saturday evening.

The festival has been hosted every June and July at the gallery since 2016.

Local and visiting craftspeople take over the gallery spaces and also host a series of demonstrations and workshops.

The June exhibitions feature works by six members of the North Pine Country Potters group in Galleries 1 and 2.

Local potter Fay Stumm also has joined in the pottery display.

The June  exhibitions will be changed over in July, with the galleries being refilled with patchwork, quilting, jewellery, textile art and alpaca winter woolies.
