Nanango Police are reviewing CCTV footage to identify a pushbike rider who stole alcohol from a drive-thru bottleshop in Fitzroy Street.

The man, aged between 25-30, entered the drive-thru about 3:15pm on December 2 and removed the alcohol from an external fridge.

When confronted by staff, he rode off … dropping the alcohol on the way.

The man was wearing a black T-shirt, black shorts and was riding a BMX bicycle.

Police are also using CCTV footage to locate a thief who stole a mountain bike from outside a hotel in Drayton Street, Nanango, on December 2.

The black mountain bike, which had blue writing on the frame, disappeared from the front of the premises at some time between between 9:00am and 5:00pm.

The owner of the bike was inside the premises and noticed it missing when he left to go home.

A 45-year-old East Nanango man will appear in Nanango Magistrates Court on January 11 charged with drug and Weapons Act offences following a police search at an address in Calvert Road, East Nanango.

Nanango Police and Kingaroy detectives executed the search warrant on December 5.

Thieves broke in and stole a small number of items from a roadside business on the D’Aguilar Highway at Nanango at some time between 2:00pm on December 5 and 5:00am on December 6.

The offenders damaged the security screen and door to the converted caravan to gain access.

At some time between 2:00pm on Saturday and 5:00pm on Sunday, thieves tools from a garage in Oliver Road, Nanango. 

The offenders used an unknown implement to gain entry .

At 11:15pm on Saturday, police were called to a disturbance in Drayton Street, Nanango. 

As a result of investigations, a 21-year-old Nanango man was issued with an infringement notice ($391 fine) for a public nuisance offence. 

Investigations into possible other offences are continuing.
