Proston Show Society has received a $3967 grant under the latest round of the Federal Government’s Volunteer Grants Program.
Member for Flynn Colin Boyce said the Proston Pastoral Agricultural & Horticultural Association would use the grant to buy kitchen equipment.
It is one of 22 organisations across the Flynn electorate which will share in the $65,012 funding available in this round.
Mr Boyce said the grants recognised the important role volunteers played in communities across the electorate.
