South Burnett CTC - Working For Our Community
54th Annual Bell Show And Rodeo
The second (and final) day of the weekend-long 54th Annual Bell Show and Rodeo will be held at Bell Showgrounds on the Bunya Highway between Kumbia and Dalby from 9:00am this morning until late this afternoon. The main Show activity that will be held today is the Bell Rodeo. It will feature - amongst other things - the Peabody Wilkie Creek Saddle Ride for $1,000; a $1,000 Bull Ride; a $500 Bareback Bronc ride; $400 Bullock, Junior Bullock and Novice bull rides; Ladies and Junior Barrel Races; a Junior Steer ride; an Iron Man and Iron Woman competition; and much more. Admission fees to today's Rodeo are $8 per head for adults - young people aged 15 and below are admitted free - and there'll be food and drink available in the grounds, along with a Piggy Back Barrel Race, Calf Scramble and Local Barrel Race for children. Timbertown Woodworkers Group Meeting - Blackbutt
The Timbertown Woodworkers Group will be holding their regular Sunday morning meeting at the Blackbutt Showgrounds in Bowman Road, Blackbutt from 8:00am until around 12:00pm today. Manumbar Campdraft

Sunday Markets - Kilkivan
The weekly Kilkivan Markets will be held in Lester Millar Park in Kilkivan from 7:00am until around 11:00am this morning. The markets feature an array of locally produced fruit, vegetables and merchandise and new stallholders are always welcome! More details? Phone Dulcie on (07) 5484-1032
Clean Up Australia Day - Murgon
The South Burnett Regional Council's annual Clean Up Australia Day effort will be held at the Murgon Showgrounds in Macalister Street, Murgon at 8:30am this morning. If you'd like to take part you should assemble at this time to register and you'll need to wear closed shoes and sun-smart clothing - gloves, bags and sunscreen will be provided by the Council. The clean-up will take place between 9:00am and 11:00am and will be followed by a free BBQ lunch. ALP Campaign Launch - Esk
The ALP's candidate for the State seat of Nanango Virginia Clarke will be officially launching her campaign for the seat at the Esk Memorial Park on the corner of the Brisbane Valley Highway and Highland Street in Esk at 11:00am this morning. All interested people are welcome to attend.
