Kilkivan Great Horse Ride
- The 2012 Kilkivan Great Horse Ride will be held in and around Kilkivan today. More information will be announced closer to the event but we do know that entertainment will be provided by Don Costa, Neil Duddy, Steve Forde and Luella Widt. There'll be five different trails this year, each of which traverses different parts of the former Kilkivan Shire. Keep an eye on the website for more information.
Free Community Concert - Wondai
- Wondai Kindergarten will be presenting a free community concert in Coronation Park, Wondai, from 10:00am to 2:00pm today. There'll be a scone cafe, barbecue and live music on stage from the Stolzenberg Brothers, Wondai District Band and Graeme Jensen. The first Kumbia Country Markets for 2012 (run by the Kumbia Hall Committee) will be held in Bell Street and the precincts of the Kumbia Hall from 7:00am to 12:00 noon today. The markets feature homemade gifts, fashions, fresh fruit and vegies, plants and crafts and a sausage sizzle will be operating too!
