Singles Morning Tea - Wondai
The Lively 50's & 60's Singles Social Group will be holding a coffee and cake social gathering at Dimities Cottage in Haly Street, Wondai between 10:00am and 12:00 noon this morning. Lively50s&60s is a social group for women and men between 50 and 69 to allow them to get together for fun, social activities and merriment. Kingaroy Writers Association Meeting - Kingaroy
The Kingaroy Writers' Association will be holding their twice-monthly meeting between 9:30am and 12:00 noon this morning at the Uniting Church Hall on the corner of Alford and Youngman Streets in Kingaroy. Members meet on the first and third Tuesdays of each month to share their work with other members and take part in writing and word exercises. Membership is just $5 per annum and meetings are $2 to cover tea and coffee (bring a plate for a shared morning tea experience). New members are always very welcome! More details? Lighten Up - Wondai
If you live in (or near) Wondai and want to lose weight, get more active and become a bit healthier, then you may like to sign up for the six-week Lighten Up To A Healthy Lifestyle workshop that will be held at the Wondai Community Health Building in Bramston Street, Wondai from 1:00pm to 3:30pm today. The six weekly workshops in this course are designed to to help you improve your level of physical activity; your understanding of food labels; your current diet and your self-esteem - and they're absolutely free!. All workshops will be facilitated by a Community Health Nurse and everyone is welcome - but an RSVP is essential because places are limited. Tuesday Night Soccer - Kingaroy
Two "make-up" games in the Evolution Solar Soccer League will be played at Tom Alford Oval in Oliver Bond Street, Kingaroy this evening to make up for matches that were missed recently due to external factors. At 6:30pm in the Women's Division, the Gunnettes will play Barambah; and they'll be followed by a 2nd Division match between the Gunners and Barambah at 7:45pm. Spectators and supporters are very welcome!
