KCCI Meet & Greet - Kingaroy
The Kingaroy Chamber of Commerce and Industry will be holding their third Meet & Greet for 2014 at the Kingaroy Showgrounds in Youngman Street, Kingaroy from 5:15pm to around 6:30pm this evening. Several guest speakers will be talking at tonight's meeting and there'll be the usual great socialising and networking too. They include Roger Gorrel from the Queensland Chamber of Commerce and Industry, who'll be talking about the QCCI's recent Atmail Digital Readiness Study, which looked at the challenges facing businesses as digital commerce, social media, global competition and changing customer expectations alter the way in which businesses trade; the South Burnett Show Society, who'll talk about their activities and the up-coming Kingaroy Show; and SBRC Depity Mayor Keith Campbell, who'll be talking about the Council's recent activities and answering any questions members might have. Admission to the Meet & Greet is $10 - which includes light refreshments - and everyone is welcome, but to assist with catering an RSVP by Saturday, April 5 would be greatly appreciated. Nanango Senior Citizens Club Meeting
The Nanango Senior Citizens Club will be holding their regular first Monday of the month meeting at the Nanango Cultural Centre in George Street, Nanango at 1:00pm this afternoon. However the Centre doors will open at 10:00am so that members can play cards and indoor bowls prior to the meeting, have a cuppa and a chat and generally socialise (BYO lunch). St John's Ambulance Brigade Meeting - Kingaroy
The Kingaroy Division of St John's Ambulance will be holding its regular Monday night training meeting at SES Shed in Glendon Street, Kingaroy from 6:30pm to 8:30pm tonight. The group provides invaluable training in eveything from first aid right up to Advanced Responder for both adults and cadets (aged 8 to 17) and new members are always welcome! More details? Youth Choir Practice Afternoon - Wondai
The South Burnett Youth Choir will be holding their regular Monday afternoon practice sessions at the Anglican Church Hall in Baynes Street, Wondai from 4:00pm to around 6:30pm today. The Junior SBYC will practice at 4:00pm; the Concert Choir at 4:30pm; and the Senior SBYC at 5:30pm. The choir offers group and (optional) solo singing of pop and classical music under instruction from qualified teachers, and supports the school music curriculum. New singers are always very welcome! Monday Night Zumba - Nanango
Zumba dance fitness classes will be held at the Nanango Blue Light Skating Rink in George Street, Nanango at 6:00pm this evening. The classes cater for age 12 upwards and people of all fitness levels. You should bring along joggers, a water bottle, a towel and a class fee.
