Women's Future Workshop - Cloyna
The Barambah branch of the Queensland Rural, Regional and Remote Women's Network (QRRRWN) will be holding a special informal workshop at Cloyna Hall in Cloyna from 9:30am to 2:30pm today. The workshop is "Women’s Future – Today and Beyond" and it will be run by women for other women to show them how to source and access support for ideas and skills, find business mentors, financial advice and more. Today's workshop will be of particular interest to women who are looking to upgrade their employment, academic or organisational skills; find employment; or discover hidden talents and skills. Admission is by gold coin donation and morning tea and lunch wil be supplied - but to assist with catering, an RSVP would be greatly appreciated. Nanango Country Quilters & Crafts Group Meeting
The Nanango Country Quilters And Crafts group meet on the first and third Wednesday of each month at the Nanango Cultural Centre in George Street, Nanango between 9:00am to 2:00pm. Members can get to pursue a wide variety of crafts at these informal gatherings and the $4 meeting fee includes morning tea (but BYO cup and lunch). There's also usually a raffle as well. Arthritis & Osteoporosis Support Group Meeting - Kingaroy
The South Burnett Arthritis & Osteoporosis Support Group will be holding their regular first Wednesday of the month meeting at the Kingaroy Community Centre at 130 Kingaroy Street, Kingaroy at 10:00am this morning. The group provides support for arthritis and osteoporosis sufferers and meets every month except January. Today's meeting will be sthe group's AGM and new members are always welcome. More details? Wednesday Night Zumba - Wondai

Karaoke Practice Night - Wondai
Love2Sing will be meeting at The Studio (the small building behind the Wondai Regional Art Galley on the roundabout at Wondai) from 7:00pm to 9:00pm this evening for a Karaoke Practice Night. This informal group allows karaoke singers to practice their songs, share tips and learn in a supportive environment. Entry is just a gold coin donation to cover the cost of electricity (which is given to the Gallery) and new members are always welcome! More details? Nanango Blue Light Open Night
The Nanango Blue Light Disco committee will be holding their regular Wednesday Open Night at the Nanango Skating Rink in George Street, Nanango from 4:00pm to 6:00pm. Young people are welcome to come along for skating lessons, homework help (during school term), games and access to the computer room. Entry is $2. More details? Kingaroy Scout Club Meeting
The Kingaroy Scout Club, which meets every Wednesday night during school terms, will be holding its regular meeting at the Scout Den in James Street, Kingaroy from 5:50pm to around 8:00pm tonight. Scouting provides instruction in an educational program of life and outdoor skills, mixed with games and craft activities, all designed to develop the physical, mental and emotional development of young males and females between the ages of 7 and 26. Blackbutt Camera Club Meeting
The Timber Towns Digital Art Association (also known as the Blackbutt Camera Club) will be holding a meeting at the Uniting Church Hall in Coulson Street, Blackbutt from 4:00pm to 8:00pm this evening. The club meets on the first and third Wednesdays of every month except December and January. The first Wednesday is devoted to practical photography (bring your camera and equipment) and the third Wednesday to a review of those images and talks and tips on software (bring your laptop), followed by a committee meeting at 7:00pm. Indoor Bowls & Cards Day - Kingaroy
The Kingaroy Senior Citizens Club will be hosting indoor bowls and cards (500) competitions at its centre on the corner of Avoca and Kingaroy Streets, Kingaroy between 9:00am and 4:00pm today. Judo Club Training Night - Murgon
The Murgon Judo Club will be holding its regular Wednesday training night at the Salvation Army Hall in Macalister Street, Murgon from 4:30pm to around 7:00pm this evening. Juniors will run from 4:30pm to 5:30pm, then seniors from 5:30pm to 7:00pm. Class fees are $4 for juniors, $6 for seniors, and new members are very welcome! More details? Murgon-Cloyna QCWA Branch Meeting
A special meeting to look at re-forming a Murgon-Cloyna branch of the QCWA will be held at the Murgon QCWA Rooms in Macalister Street at 9:00am this morning. This meeting had been originally scheduled to be held last Wednesday, but had to be postponed at the last minute because of heavy rain. Interest in re-forming the branch has been strong and all people who'd like to get involved to restart a QCWA branch in the town are urged to attend.
Bowls Club Bingo - Kingaroy

Childrens Tennis Fun and Learning - Nanango
The Nanango & District Tennis Association will be running their final Childrens Tennis Fun and Learning afternoon at the Nanango Tennis Courts in Brisbane Street from 3:30pm to 4:30pm today. Sessions are based on the MLC Hotshots tennis fun and learning guidelines, and a parent or nominated adult must be present with all participating children. Alcoholics Anonymous - Wondai
Alcoholics Anonymous is a fellowship of men and women who share their experiences, strengths and hopes with each other to help solve their common problems and help others to recover from alcoholism. The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking. There are no dues or fees for AA membership, and AA isn't allied with any sect, denomination, politics, organization or institution.
