Mid-Week Markets - Kingaroy
Growing The Burnett will be holding their Mid-Week Markets in Kingaroy today. The markets feature fresh food and crafts produced exclusively in the South Burnett, and are held in O'Neill Square in Haly Street, Kingaroy between 7:30am and 12:00 noon. South Burnett Toastmasters - Kingaroy
South Burnett Toastmasters will be holding a meeting in the Anzac Room of Kingaroy RSL in Markwell Street, Kingaroy at 7:00pm this evening. Toastmasters is a great way to learn how to speak in public and boost your self-confidence, and new members are always very welcome! Meetings are held on the 1st, 3rd and 5th Thursdays of the month. Swimming For Fitness - Murgon
The South Burnett Regional Council's new Swimming For Fitness program (for adults) will be held between 12:00 noon and 1:00pm this afternoon at the Murgon Swimming Pool at 101 Gore Street, Murgon. This program is run by a local swimming coach and is open to adults of all fitness and ability levels. It aims to teach new ways to become physically active and how to stay active for life. If you're coming along, bring your swimming togs, a towel, sun protection and (if applicable) medication. Session fees are $5 if you're in full-time employment, or $2.50 if you're not. More details? Nanango Community Auxiliary Meeting
The Nanango Community Auxiliary will be holding its regular first Thursday of the month meeting at the QVCWA Rooms in Fitzroy Street, Nanango (just opposite Foodworks) from 9:30am this morning. The Auxiliary is open to both men and women and members enjoy a cuppa and snacks, play Hoy and other games, or simply sit and chat. Tai Chi For Health - Kingaroy
Kingaroy's "Tai Chi For Health" classes will be held at the Uniting Church Hall at the corner of Alford and Youngman Streets this morning. The Intermediate Class will run from 9:00am to 10:00am, and it will be followed by the Beginners Group between 10:15am and 11:15am. Ulysses Club Thursday Breakfast Ride - Kingaroy
The Ulysses Club (motto: "Grow Old Disgracefully") will be holding their regular Thursday morning Breakfast Ride today, departing from the Kingaroy Hotel at the corner of Youngman and Haly Streets at 8:00am for a ride to breakfast in a cafe (the cafe varies from one week to the next). Visitors and prospective new members are very welcome!
Country Music Night - Nanango
An informal Country Music Night will be held at the Nanango Uniting Church in Gipps Street at 7:30pm tonight. The get-together is open to both spectators and performers, and the $2 entry fee includes supper. Everyone is welcome!
Blackbutt-Yarraman QCWA Meeting

St Joseph's Bingo - Murgon
St Joseph's Parish Hall in Angel Avenue, Murgon will be holding bingo games from 7:30pm this evening. There'll be $1000 in prizes on offer as well as a canteen and lucky bingo tickets. Proceeds will go to aid St Joseph's school and community works.

Alcoholics Anonymous - Kingaroy
Alcoholics Anonymous is a fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength and hope with each other to help solve their common problem and help others to recover from alcoholism. The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking. There are no dues or fees for A.A. membership. A.A. isn't allied with any sect, denomination, politics, organization or institution.
