Grow, Cook, Eat Workshop - Wheatlands
- A free "Grow, Cook, Eat Workshop" where residents and visitors can learn exciting new recipes, discover ways to modify recipes to make them healthier and get useful and practical information on organic gardening methods will be held at Wheatlands State School at 422 Byee Road in Wheatlands between 1:45pm and 2:45pm this afternoon. The workshop will cover how to grow fruit and vegetables seasonally; how to cook Babaganoush (ie eggplant dip) and Tzatziki (ie cucumber and yoghurt dip); and then guests can eat the delicious results! Kingaroy Writers Association Meeting - Kingaroy
- The Kingaroy Writers' Association will be holding their twice-monthly meeting between 9:30am and 12:00 noon this morning at the Uniting Church Hall on the corner of Alford and Youngman Streets in Kingaroy. Members meet on the first and third Tuesdays of each month to share their work with other members and take part in writing and word exercises.
