Thursday Evening Art Classes - Kingaroy

The Nimue Art Gallery in King Street, Kingaroy (immediately next to the Carrollee Hotel) will be holding another of their regular Thursday evening art classes from 6:00pm to 8:00pm tonight. The classes are led by professional art teacher Cory McAulay and cover drawing skills (including line, proportion, tonal values, composition, format, positive and negative shapes and perspective) and painting skills (including planning, organising the work area, painting techniques, washes and glazing etc) over the course of several weeks. The cost of each Thursday night art class is $25 and students need to bring materials to each class that are suitable for use in the subjects being taught on any particular evening, such as a drawing book or acrylic paint set. Thursday Afternoon Golf - Nanango

Nanango Play Group

Are you a Nanango mother with young children who'd enjoy a social get-together with other mums? Then get along to the weekly Nanango Play Group, which will be meeting at the CTC Nanango Hub at 42 Drayton Street in Nanango (ie the old pre-school building) from 10:00am to 12:00 noon this morning. Its facilities include community kitchens and - at times - the group has discussions with local Community Health officers attending the Hub about healthy eating and recipes you're able to cook at home. Alcoholics Anonymous is a fellowship of men and women who share their experiences, strengths and hopes with each other to help solve their common problems and help others to recover from alcoholism. The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking. There are no dues or fees for A.A. membership, and A.A. isn't allied with any sect, denomination, politics, organization or institution.
