Suicide Intervention Workshop - Kingaroy
Lifeline will be holding the first day of a two-day Suicide Intervention Workshop at Uniting Care Community at 1 Victoria Street, Kingaroy from 8:30am to 4:30pm today (and also tomorrow). The workshop has been designed for volunteers and service providers and all participants will receive two days of applied suicide intervention skills training; a workbook; a suicide intervention handbook; a wallet card; lunches, morning and afternoon teas; and a certificate. Tuesday Afternoon Scrabble - Kingaroy

Murgon Lions Club Meeting
The Murgon Lions Club will be holding their regular 2nd Tuesday of the month meeting at 7:00pm this evening. Most meetings are usually held at the Australian Hotel in Lamb Street, but on occasion they may also be held at other venues (such as the Lions Shed and members homes) - so please call in advance if you want to come along. Art Geckos - Kingaroy
The Kingaroy Friendly Art Group (the "Art Geckos") will be holding their regular Tuesday morning meeting at the 1913 Council Chambers in Edward Street, Kingaroy at 9:30am this morning. Drawing Classes - Kingaroy
The Nimue Art Gallery in King Street, Kingaroy (right next to the Carrollee Hotel) will be holding a Drawing Class led by artist Greg Bold from 10:00am to 1:30pm today (and also for the next two Tuesdays). The cost of the course is $60 for three lessons and students will need to bring their own materials to each class (pencils, ink, paper etc).
