Makers, Bakers & Growers Markets - Kingaroy
Boots & Bulldust will be running the weekly Makers, Bakers and Growers Markets in Kingaroy today. The markets feature fresh food and crafts produced exclusively in the South Burnett and surrounding areas, along with great hand-crafted pizzas, and are held at O'Neill Square in Haly Street, Kingaroy between 12:00 noon and 6:30pm. Proston Show Society Meeting
The Proston Show Society will be holding its regular monthly meeting at the Proston Showgrounds at 7:00pm tonight. Show Society membership is just $12 a year for adults and $7 a year for junior members (12 to 18 years), and new members are always welcome. More details? Biggest Morning Tea - Yarraman
A "Biggest Morning Tea" to help raise funds for the Queensland Cancer Council will be held at the Yarraman Caravan Park off the D'Aguilar Highway just north of Yarraman from 10:00am to around 12:00 noon this morning. Entry is just $5 and you can share in raffles and other prizes that will be on offer, as well as enjoy a great morning tea. Biggest Morning Tea - Kingaroy
A Biggest Morning Tea will also be held at the Anglican Church Hall at 42 Alford Street in Kingaroy from 10:00am to 12:00 noon this morning. The $5 entry fee includes delicious food, tea and coffee for morning tea, and there'll also be a guest speaker, music and games, and raffles. The venue is wheelchair accessible too. Birds Of A Feather Meeting - Kingaroy
The Birds Of A Feather Cancer Support Group will be holding their regular 4th Thursday of the month meeting at Kingaroy RSL in Markwell Street, Kingaroy at 10:00am this morning. This is a friendly, informal group of women who have (or had) cancer, as well as carers, and they get together once a month for a morning tea and chat. New members are very welcome! More details? Thursday Night League Training - Kingaroy
Training for Kingaroy Red Ants U16, U18 and A Grade players will be held at T.J. O'Neill Oval in Youngman Street, Kingaroy this evening. U16s and U18s start training at 5:30pm, and A grade players at 6:00pm.
Kumbia QCWA Meeting & Get-Together
The QCWA Kumbia Branch in Bell Street will open its doors at 9.00am this morning for a cuppa, followed by a branch meeting at 9:30am. After this formality has been attended to, though, members will focus on friendship and fun through sharing their skills in traditional and contemporary art and handcraft activities for the remainder of the morning and into the afternoon. St Joseph's Bingo - Murgon
St Joseph's Parish Hall in Angel Avenue, Murgon will be hosting bingo games from 7:30pm this evening. There'll be $1000 in prizes on offer as well as a canteen and lucky bingo tickets. Proceeds will go to aid St Joseph's school and community works.

Circle Of Security Parenting Program - Kingaroy
The first week of the Circle Of Security Parenting Program - a four week course in better parenting practices for parents - will run at the 1913 Council Chambers behind the Visitor Information Centre in Haly Street, Kingaroy from 9:30am to 11:30am this morning. The course teaches parents how to understand their child's emotional world and needs; help their child deal effectively with their emotions; instil children with confidence and self-esteem; and strengthen skills in observing and connecting with their child. The course is being run by Graham House and it's free. The three succeeding lessons will be run at the same time and place over the next three Thursdays. More details? Old Time Dancing Classes - Murgon

Community Kitchen members learn how to cook a variety of budget conscious home-cooked meals, then sit down together for a communal lunch afterwards to enjoy the results for the cost of a gold coin donation. Alcoholics Anonymous - Kingaroy
Alcoholics Anonymous is a fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength and hope with each other to help solve their common problem and help others to recover from alcoholism. The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking. There are no dues or fees for A.A. membership. A.A. isn't allied with any sect, denomination, politics, organisation or institution.
