Last Day To Update Voting Details
Today is the last day you can enrol to vote in the July 2 Federal election, or update your enrolment details, and if you're not on the roll by 8:00pm and you're over 18, you can be fined. However, you can now enrol or update your details online on the AEC's website by using your driver's licence number or Australian passport number as ID, or by having someone who is already enrolled confirm your identity.
Proston QCWA Crafts Group Meeting
The Proston QCWA Crafts Group will be holding their regular meeting at the Proston QCWA Rooms in Rodney Street from 9:00am to 2:00pm today. The group meets on the 2nd, 3rd and 4th Mondays of each month, and you don't need to be a QCWA member to attend. More details? Phone (07) 4168-9391.
Monday Evening Bingo - Blackbutt
Bingo games will be held at Nukku Nook at the head of the Blackbutt Rail Trail in Hart Street, Blackbutt from 7:00pm this evening (eyes down at 7:30pm sharp). Seniors Having A Ball - Murgon
The South Burnett PCYC in Macalister Street, Murgon will be holding a "Seniors Having A Ball" exercise class from 8:30am to 9:30am this morning. The program is designed to address the issues that many have with ageing and it's not just for seniors! It provides light exercise to keep the heart and joints moving, improving coordination and mobility. It also provides a beginner platform to start any fitness activity on. As well as physical fitness, it also has a fun social atmosphere too. The class fee is just $4 for PCYC members or $7 for non-members. More details? Sing Australia Meeting - Kingaroy
The Kingaroy branch of the Sing Australia singing group will be holding their regular Monday night meeting at the Uniting Church Hall in Alford Street, Kingaroy (opposite Shoppingworld) from 7:00pm to around 9:00pm this evening. The group have a welcoming, inclusive and fun approach to singing and meet every Monday except for school and public holidays. The Wondai SES will be holding their regular Monday night training session at their shed in McCord Street, Wondai from 5:00pm to 7:00pm. Graham House Community Kitchen - Murgon
The Graham House Community Kitchen will be holding its regular Monday morning meetings at the Graham House Community Centre in Taylor Street, Murgon from 10:00am to around 12:00 noon this morning. Community Kitchen members learn how to cook a variety of budget conscious home-cooked meals, then sit down together for a communal lunch afterwards to enjoy the results. Alcoholics Anonymous - Wondai
Alcoholics Anonymous is a fellowship of men and women who share their experiences, strengths and hopes with each other to help solve their common problems and help others to recover from alcoholism. The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking. There are no dues or fees for AA membership, and AA isn't allied with any sect, denomination, politics, organization or institution.
