Biggest Morning Tea - Wondai
A "Biggest Morning Tea" to help raise funds for the Queensland Cancer Council will be held at Dimities Corttage at 49 Haly Street in Wondai from 9:30am to around 12:00 noon this morning. Entry is just $5 and you can share in raffles and other prizes that will be on offer, as well as enjoy professional information from invited guest speakers and - of course! - get a great morning tea from Dimities legendary Chef Graham. Tuesday Night Indoor Bowls - Wondai

QCWA Kumbia Branch Meeting And Get-Together
- The QCWA Kumbia Branch in Bell Street will be opening its doors at 9.00am this morning for a cuppa, followed by its monthly branch meeting at 9:30am. After this formality has been attended to, though, members focus on friendship and fun through sharing their skills in traditional and contemporary art and handcraft activities for the remainder of the morning and into the afternoon. The Nanango Scout Club - which meets every Tuesday night during school terms - will be holding its regular weekly meeting at the Scout Den at 40 Henry Street, Nanango (just next to the police station) from 5:30pm to around 7:00pm tonight. The group currently has three sections in operation: Joeys (for children aged 6 to 8 years); Cubs (8-11 years); and Scouts (11-15 years). Danny's Diner - a free community dinner - will be held at the Uniting Church Hall at the corner of Alford and Youngman streets in Kingaroy from 5:30pm to 7:00pm tonight. The dinner is an initiative of the Kingaroy District Ministry Association for the benefit of anyone who's hungry or otherwise doing it tough.
