South Burnett CTC - Working For Our Community
Kingaroy & District Vintage Machinery Club Rally
The second day of the two-day Kingaroy & District Vintage Machinery Club Rally will be held at the club's grounds along Geoff Raph Drive at Kingaroy Airport between 8:00am and 1:00pm today. The rally attracts vintage machinery enthusiasts from all over South East Queensland and there'll be a huge range of antique machinery on display including cars, tractors, trucks, crawlers and stationary engines. Other highlights include a Grand Parade, slow tractor races, sled pulling, ploughing, ring events and much, much more! If you're hungry, there'll be a barbecue, food and drink stalls operating all day too. This year's event also celebrates 100 years McCormick Farmall tractors and there'll be a special display of these in the grounds as well. Admission today is $10, but under-16s can get in for free.
Blackbutt Country Markets
The Blackbutt Lions Country Markets - run on the third Sunday of every month - will be held at Les Muller Park in Hart Street, Blackbutt from 7:00am until around mid-day today. The markets offer a wide range of locally produced arts, crafts and freshly harvested foodstuffs from more than 40 stallholders and everyone is welcome along!
Sunday Bingo - Wondai
Bingo games will be held at the Wondai RSL in Mackenzie Street, Wondai this afternoon, with eyes down from 1:30pm. There will be 3 jackpots and 15 games on offer, and the kitchen will be open for light meals. Proceeds will go to help Wondai RSL veterans. More details? Phone (07) 4168-5297.
Family Movie Night - Nanango
The Hub skating rink at the corner of Elk and George Streets, Nanango will be running a Family Movie Night from 5:00pm this evening, screening the animated Disney Pixar film "Elemental" (movie starts at 5:30pm). Drinks and snacks will be on sale - no self-catering is allowed - and tickets are $8 for adults or $6 for children aged under 14. Everyone is welcome, but guests should BYO blankets and pillows.
Timbertowns Woodworkers - Blackbutt
The Timbertowns Woodworkers group will be holding their regular Sunday morning meeting at the Blackbutt Showgrounds in Bowman Road, Blackbutt from 8:30am until around 12:00 noon today. Sunday Afternoon Poker - Kingaroy

School Holiday Futsal Clinics - Kingaroy
South Burnett Futsal will be running school holiday futsal clinics at St Mary's Catholic College at 10 Kent Street, Kingaroy today. They'll run an U8-U11 clinic from 9:00am to noon, followed by an U12-U16 clinic from 1:00pm to 4:00pm. All young people are welcome and you can obtain more information by email
Open Day & Car Show - Kingaroy
Bunya Care will be holding an Open Day & Car Show in the parking area at the rear of Kingaroy Town Hall from 8:00am to 2:00pm today. Individuals who want to enter will need a gold coin donation, and entry fees for the car show are $5 per car. In addition to cars there'll also be face painting for children, smoked meats and a coffee and cold drinks stall on site. Proceeds of the event will be donated to Lismore flood recovery groups. Annual Winery Platters & Pizza Ride
Cancelled: The South Burnett Mountain Bike Club's annual Winery Platters & Pizza Ride which was to be held along the South Burnett Rail Trail and the Moffatdale Loop Trail between north Murgon and Moffatdale was planned to be run today, but has had to be cancelled due to unavoidable circumstances. A rescheduled ride will be arranged in due course.
Kumbia Museum
The Kumbia and District Historical Society's museum, located in the Federation Heritage Centre behind Kumbia Hall in Bell Street, will be open from 1:30pm to 3:30pm this afternoon.
