Graham House Community Kitchen - Murgon
The Graham House Community Kitchen will be holding its regular Monday morning meeting at the Graham House Community Centre in Taylor Street, Murgon from 10:00am to around 12:00 noon this morning. Community Kitchen members learn how to cook a variety of budget conscious home-cooked meals, then sit down together for a communal lunch afterwards to enjoy the results. Meet The Candidates - Burrandowan
A "Meet The Candidates" informal get-together for local residents has been organised at Burrandowan racetrack at 11:30am today. Mayoral and Division 6 candidates for the South Burnett Regional Council have been invited. This is an opportunity for local residents to ask questions and air their concerns.
Pre-Poll Voting Opens Today
Pre-poll voting for Saturday's Council elections will open today at South Burnett Regional Council offices in Blackbutt, Nanango, Kingaroy, Wondai and Murgon. Voters who'd like to avoid the crush on Saturday can cast their votes between 8:30am and 4:30pm from today to Friday, March 18. Voting in the Council elections is compulsory, whether you're a ratepayer or not.
Nanango Men's Shed

Wondai SES Meeting
The Wondai SES will be holding their regular Monday night training session at their shed in McCord Street, Wondai from 5:00pm to 7:00pm. Seniors Having A Ball - Murgon
The South Burnett PCYC in Macalister Street, Murgon will be holding a "Seniors Having A Ball" exercise class from 8:30am to 9:30am this morning. The program is designed to address the issues that many have with ageing and it's not just for seniors! It provides light exercise to keep the heart and joints moving, improving coordination and mobility. It also provides a beginner platform to start any fitness activity on. As well as physical fitness, it also has a fun social atmosphere too. The class fee is just $4 for PCYC members or $7 for non-members. More details? Alcoholics Anonymous - Wondai
Alcoholics Anonymous is a fellowship of men and women who share their experiences, strengths and hopes with each other to help solve their common problems and help others to recover from alcoholism. The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking. There are no dues or fees for AA membership, and AA isn't allied with any sect, denomination, politics, organization or institution.
