2016 Wine & Food In The Park Festival
The 17th annual Wine & Food In The Park Festival will be held at Memorial Park in Haly Street, Kingaroy from 12:00 noon this morning through to 8:00pm tonight. The Festival has steadily grown over the years the biggest single festival held in the South Burnett as well as the region's most loved Autumn get-together, and this year's WAFITP promises to be bigger and better than ever. This year the Festival will feature all its regular attractions (such as the Giant Wine Tent, exotic Food Court, wet bar and a jam-packed program of live entertainment) along with several new things including an on-grounds Dinner Under The Stars (held last night); craft beers; and several Central Burnett wineries alongside well-known local faces. The Festival's popular - and usually outrageous! - street performers will also be wending their way through the crowds all day, and there'll also be carnival rides for children on the grounds too. Admission is just $20 per head for adults (and under-18s can get in for free!). And after the Festival winds down most local entertainment venues in Kingaroy will be holding post-WAFITP parties for revellers who want to carry on into the night. You can find out anything else you'd like to know about this year's Wine & Food In The Park Festival (as well as see YouTube videos of some of the entertainers who'll be appearing there today) on the Festival's website.
