South Burnett Rates Rise 2.5pc
South Burnett ratepayers will face an average 2.5 per cent rate rise after the South Burnett Regional Council handed down its 2016-17 Budget this morning.
Toowoomba Rates Rise 3.24pc
Toowoomba Regional Council will raise rates by an average 3.24 per cent this year, and the majority of residential ratepayers will pay an extra $93 a year – about $1.78 a week – if they claim the discount.
