SunPork Group has renewed its partnership with Kingaroy BaconFest in a new multi-year sponsorship deal.

Recently elected Chief Baconeer Evalyn Thompson announced the the sponsorship renewal on Monday.

“SunPork has committed much needed funds and in-kind donations to help make sure that BaconFest remains a showcase for the best quality Australian pork in the country,” Evalyn said.

SunPork Group chief commercial officer Rhys Collins said the company could not be happier to announce the renewed partnership.

“SunPork have been on board supporting this festival since its inception, and we’re proud to help the committee take BaconFest to new heights in 2024,” he said.

“Kingaroy is the heart of our business as we have over 800 locals employed at our Kingaroy processing plant.

“This festival gives us the opportunity to … support local business and stimulate the economy as we work to attract visitors from all over the world to help us celebrate all things pigs and bacon.”

The two main days of the festival will be held in the Kingaroy CBD on August 17-18.
