Three projects have received funding from the South Burnett Regional Council under the latest round of Regional Arts Development Fund.

Arts portfolio holder Cr Danita Potter the projects involved acting and screen production, dancing and a creative skills workshop:

  • $3000 – Noosa Film Academy for youth acting for screen and screen production workshops
  • $3000 – Kingaroy State High School P&C for dance workshops with the Phluxus2 Dance Collective
  • $2080 – Tingoora artist Robyn Dower for “Kickstart Creativity”

The Regional Arts Development Fund is a partnership between the State Government and South Burnett Regional Council.

RADF funding aims to support local arts and culture in regional Queensland.

The program has been running since 1991.

Arts Minister Leeanne Enoch said the State Government would provide $2.13 million for RADF projects in 2022-23 to 59 councils, who will contribute a total co-investment amount of more than $1.9 million.
