Kingaroy State High School’s talented art students have taken over the walls of the Kingaroy Regional Art Gallery for September.
The annual exhibition of senior students’ work had been a staple at the Kingaroy Gallery for about two decades and always creates a very busy opening night.
It’s an opportunity for the Year 10-12 students to share their art in a formal space with their parents and friends.
The opening night was held on Wednesday, with Cr Danita Potter doing the honours.
The word for the evening was “proud” … with KSHS principal David Thomson, Head Of Department Kathryn Radunz and Cr Potter all emphasising how proud they were of the efforts the students had put into their work, and the talent they had displayed.
Many of the artworks have been prepared for final assessments.
The Kingaroy State High School exhibition will be at the gallery until September 30.
