There’s no need to travel to Brisbane to Toowoomba to see quality live theatre when Heritage NananGO PLAYfest is in town!
Every year, the Nanango Theatre Company invites productions from theatres across the South East Drama Circuit to come to Nanango to entertain local audiences and compete for prizes.
This year’s NananGO PLAYfest kicks off on Friday night (September 4) and will continue on Saturday and Sunday.
The program includes performances by 11 theatre companies (see the program, below) with comedies and dramas in the mix.
The award winners will be announced early on Sunday afternoon.
A highlight on Saturday morning should be the performance of a musical, The Claw, by the children from the South Burnett Performing Arts Academy.
The children, who have been practising hard for months, wowed the audience with their show in Yarraman last Saturday morning.
Tickets for the Heritage NananGO PLAYfest can be booked online
Cost is $15 per person per session or a three-day pass for $50.
A bar and catering will be open all weekend, and a three-course dinner will be available on Saturday night for $35.
