Police are investigating the theft of Christmas decorations from Dalton Place on the Bunya Highway at Wooroolin.

Officer-in-charge of Kingaroy Police, Senior Sergeant David Tierney, said residents opposite the council park observed a man on Friday driving a Holden sedan get out of his vehicle and remove decorations from a public Christmas tree.

The man placed the decorations in his vehicle before driving off.

Investigations are continuing.

On Saturday, Kingaroy police received a report that thieves had gained entry to an unsecured shed overnight in Graham Street.

They stole a small quantity of cash and keys from an unlocked vehicle.

At 9:30pm on December 4, police observed two men acting suspiciously in Memorial Park, Kingaroy.

Police spoke with both and subsequently searched an 18-year-old Kingaroy man, allegedly locating clip seal bags, a pipe and false ID.

He will appear in Kingaroy Magistrates Court on January 7 charged with possessing tainted property, drug utensils and property used in the commission of a drug offence.

On December 5, police executed a search warrant at 10.30pm at an address in Martin Place, Kingaroy. 

Police allegedly found cannabis and drug utensils during the search.

A 41-year-old Kingaroy woman will appear in Kingaroy Magistrates Court on January 7 charged with permitting her residence to be used for possessing dangerous drugs.

On Sunday, Kingaroy police executed a search warrant at a Hodge Street residence.

A 39-year-old Kingaroy man was allegedly found in unlawful possession of ammunition and cannabis seeds.

He will appear in Kingaroy Magistrates Court charged with possessing ammunition and was dealt with by way of diversion for the drugs.

Kingaroy police responded to a variety of incidents between December 3-10 within the Kingaroy Police Division. These included drug, traffic and property-related offences.

Police also attended seven calls related to domestic violence incidents, issued 14 infringement notices for life-endangering traffic offences and performed 266 roadside breath tests.
